Terms of Service

TierChat (tierchat.ai) is operated by Edamame Labs (“we”, “us”). By using TierChat you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

1. You must be 18 or older

TierChat is only for people who are 18 or older. By using TierChat, including browsing it, creating an account, making a tier list, or saving your own tier list, you confirm that you are at least 18. If you are under 18, do not use TierChat. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we will delete it and the data tied to it.

2. Your account

You log in with a one-time code sent to your email address. You're responsible for keeping access to that email secure and for what happens under your account. One person per account.

3. What TierChat is

TierChat shows tier lists and group-chat style commentary written by AI models. It's entertainment. The AIs are opinionated and frequently wrong, and nothing on TierChat is professional, financial, medical, legal or any other kind of advice. Rankings of products, places, stocks, businesses or people are AI opinions, not statements of fact or endorsements.

TierChat is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, xAI, Meta, DeepSeek or Moonshot AI. Their names and logos identify the models used and belong to their owners.

4. What you submit is public

When you make a tier list, your topic, any contenders you name, and the resulting tier list, reasons and group chat are published on TierChat for anyone to see, and may be shared or indexed by search engines. Tier lists you save with “Make your own” are combined anonymously into the crowd results shown on each page. You give us a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, adapt and share that content in connection with TierChat.

5. Rules

Don't use TierChat to:

• submit anything illegal, hateful, harassing, sexual, violent, or that targets a private person;
• share other people's personal information;
• get around our content filters, or flood the site with automated requests;
• attack, overload, scrape at scale, or interfere with the service.

We screen topics automatically and may refuse, edit or remove any tier list, and suspend accounts, at our discretion.

6. Links and images

Tier lists link to and show images from Wikipedia and other websites. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content.

7. No warranty; limits on liability

TierChat is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Edamame Labs is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for anything you decide based on content on TierChat. Our total liability for any claim is limited to US$50.

8. Changes and ending

We may change TierChat or these terms at any time; the date above shows the latest version, and continuing to use TierChat means you accept it. You can stop using TierChat at any time, and we may suspend or end access if these terms are broken.
